Methodology and Scope of Work
|
- Initial screening based on the inventory, hazardous properties of the chemicals involved, inherent design and engineered design aspects, engineering
judgment and past history
- Preliminary hazard assessment using Dow’s Index
- Based on earlier analysis, taking up the short listed cases/operation and applying techniques like
HAZOP
- Taking up the credible scenarios for further analyses like Fault Tree and Event Tree and doing semi quantitative risk assessment by substituting values
