| Safety Integrity Level (SIL) |
|
- A Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessment determines the effectiveness of safety systems based on the probability of tolerable incidents that can occur within a number of processing demands.
- Our understanding of major hazards in industries and our proficiency with the standards like IEC 61508/ IEC 61511 and with many years of experience in the management of safety, hazard and risk, Chola Risk are extremely well placed to deliver SIL studies.
- We have certified TUV Functional Safety engineers to carry out these studies

Services Offered:
|
- SIL Assessment
- SIL assessments are formal classification methods which provide a record of a quantified assessment of the probability of failure on demand of a safety system taking account of the consequences of the failure of the Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs).
- The SIL Assessment Study would be conducted using PHA Pro8 software
|
- SRS Preparation
- The exSILentia 3.0 software package developed by Exida was used for generating Safety Requirement Specification based on the input provided by project documents and Target SIL determination report.
|
- SIL Verification
- SIL verification will be carried out based on the Markov modeling using EXIDA’s exSILential-3.0 software. The exSILentia software has been provided by M/s Exida and it is proven software for Safety Integrity Level Studies. The inputs provided by the instrument suppliers like Probability of Failure on Demand of the system, Component Failure Rates, Single Proof Test Interval, Mean Time to Restoration, Fraction of failures covered by the Diagnostic Coverage (DC) etc. will be used for the SIL verification.
