The P Drive System
This innovative system is from Germany that we have just added to our stock of revolutionary and state of the art equipment. This can be used for road safety training, advanced training for instructors and professional drivers and to conduct a series of tests that will calculate the reaction time of drivers.
The p drive is a compact system that records and analyses all the relevant driver and vehicle data objectively. It is used to improve the individual’s driving ability via various software programmes for all kinds of target groups.

The main unit is a small box which integrates, synchronizes and records video, audio and signal data. Using a 20Hz GPS signal, up to 4 digital video cameras and 100Hz G-force sensors, all movements of drivers and vehicles are recorded accurately and objectively. This is a GPS enabled system and calculates the speed, acceleration, braking and centrifugal forces that act on a vehicle.
In addition to speed the p drive also captures longitudinal (acceleration, deceleration) and lateral forces (steering maneuvers).

It has two cameras, one that faces the road and another that faces the cabin. This enables us to capture the road conditions and the reaction of the driver in any given circumstance. It also has an audio recording system.
